Early start and a second drive to Gallipoli, this time for the memorial Service at Lone Pine Cemetry. Both John Howard & Kiwi Beasley were present |
| Very emotinal service. laid our wreath and had great success finding the grave of Hector Tuse who was killed this day 85 years ago. |  |

Departed from Gallipoli via the ferry to Canakkale. Had lunch there ,then drove to Troy to see the excavated ruins which were unearthed in 1871. |
| We were looking at over 3000 years of history. Drove through miles of Olive trees and finally come to the Agean sea and to our hotel in assos. Good to have such a wonderful outlook over the sea. |  |
